Located in the heart of the historic centre, Piazza dei Signori is the city’s most important square, so called because it was the seat of the buildings of Treviso’s ancient seigniory.
Today the square, to which the city’s main street, Cal Maggiore, converges, is home to shops, bars, restaurants and the famous pizzeria “Da Pino”, unique for its elegant and classy style.
Especially in the evenings and on holidays, this part of the city is transformed into a place to meet, talk and have company.
From the square you can choose which area of the city you prefer to reach: you can walk along Cal Maggiore for a bit of shopping, enjoy a good ice cream on the imposing steps of the Duomo, head towards the Pescheria area, full of restaurants and typical places, or if you feel like walking, you can take a stroll up to the splendid city walls, for a few moments of peace and relaxation.
If, like us, you are a lover of the typical architecture of the 1800s and 1900s, you cannot miss a walk along the Città Giardino district, not far from the Duomo, to admire the fascinating Treviso villas of those times.
